Mrs. Sheila T. Gamino holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Child Developmental Psychology from DePaul University, a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education, and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. She holds a teaching certificate from the Association of Christian Schools International and an Illinois Type 75 Administration Certificate for grades K-12. Prior to joining the teaching staff at LWCA, she taught grades kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd, in the Chicago Public School district.
At LWCA, she taught 1st grade from 2002 – 2011. Mrs. Gamino’s previous experience also includes having served as a mentorship coordinator in Chicago Public schools, providing crisis intervention for runaway youth, serving as a volunteer for Junior Achievement and as a teacher in the children’s church ministry at LWCC.
