This letter is to inform you that the Helping Hands Volunteer Committee will be sponsoring a monthly Fundraiser. Help us celebrate School Spirit Days at LWCA. This fundraiser will assist the committee with various events that will take place throughout the school year. We are asking that you allow your child to participate in a non-uniform day on a monthly basis. There is a $2 fee, per child to participate in this event. Please remember to adhere to the LWCA’s dress code. Monies will be collected by your child’s teacher on the date of the event. Please note that participation is optional. If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mr. Smith (Volunteer Coordinator).

In an effort to increase teacher-parent communication, you will now have access to your child’s homework assignments through the Grade Book Wizard system.

Assignments are currently posted as of today, Wednesday, October 26, 2011.

Please note that beginning on Monday, October 31, 2011, all homework assignments will be posted by 4:00pm every Monday.

In order to access your child’s homework assignments and grades, you will need your Grade Book Wizard (GBW) login and password. Instructions for accessing your child’s homework on the Grade Book Wizard system has been sent home along with your login and password information with your child on today, Wednesday, October 26, 2011.

In addition, you can leave a message for your child’s teacher and they will be able to respond via their email system. Beginning today, Wednesday, October 26, 2011, all LWCA parents can access the Good News Wednesday via Grade Book Wizard. The Good News Wednesday will be posted each Wednesday on the GBW website.

Living Word Christian Academy (LWCA) was founded in 1999 by Pastor Bill Winston, Pastor of Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, Illinois . The standard at LWCA is Excellence, Excellence in Everything and Everything in Excellence with Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone.
