Our goal is to provide a rigorous learning environment that promotes and supports high expectations in which each student is expected to learn and demonstrate learning at higher instructional levels. Please assist us in this endeavor by ensuring that your child is in school on time every day.
Homework is an extension of the classroom assignments etc. Your child receives homework every night in reading, math, writing, etc. depending on the grade level. Please ensure that all homework is completed and returned the following day to the classroom teacher. Students must use the proper heading on all class assignments and homework. Students in K5 thru 8th will be taught cursive writing. We are raising our expectations for LWCA students.
Below you will see the expected time frame for homework completion. I am requesting that your child read recreationally for at least 15- 30 minutes per night.
